On the eve of the interreligious meeting in Assisi of Pope Benedict XVI with representatives of Christians of different faiths, world religious traditions and people of good will, on October 26, 2011, in the hall of the Theological Faculty of the Silesian University in Katowice in Poland, an interreligious scientific symposium entitled Pilgrims of Truth, Pilgrims of Peace took place.
