An important event concerning the smaller brothers in Poland will be the Plenary Council of the Order, which will take place on 17-30 November 2013 in Konstanc k/Warsaw.
The meeting is not directly about formation, but due to its historical and Franciscan importance it is worth getting acquainted with its program and course, which will be systematically supplemented on our website.
As announced, the next workshops for the guards of the North Slavic Conference will take place from 12 to 15 November 2013, at the Sanctuary in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska (ul. Bernardine 46; 34-130 Kalwaria Zebrzydowska).
In Zariczany k/Zhytomyr in Ukraine, from 21 October to 3 November 2013, there will be an annual retreat for the formators of our Conference.
The retreatist will be about. Natanael Hare OFM (Province of St. Michael the Archangel).
From 8 to 22 September 2013, the International Congress of Provincial Secretaries of Formation and Studies entitled "Iesus ibat cum illis" (Lk 24:15) takes place in Santa Maria degli Angeli (Porcjunkula) in Italy. Franciscan accompaniment – a formative approach.
A servant of God may be recognized as possessing the Spirit of the Lord in this way: if the flesh does not pride itself when the Lord performs some good through him since the flesh is always opposed to every good; rather he considers himself the more worthless in his own eyes and esteems himself less than all others.
The meeting of the brothers of our Conference preparing for the perpetual profession (probation) will take place on Mount St. Anne and will consist of two parts: 1) from 23 to 26 June 2013 in the Pilgrim's House – a meeting of young brothers with the Minister General of our Order; 2) from 26 June (dinner) to 7 July (breakfast) br. in the monastery at the Sanctuary – c.d. probation.
The probation programme and organisational issues for the meeting will be announced in the future. Responsible for the organization of probation is about. Witosław J. Sztyk OFM (witoslaw2@interia.pl).
"RENEW IN YOURSELF THE GIFT OF FAITH" – under this title, on 23-26 June 2013, in the Pilgrim's House on Mount St. Anne, there will be a meeting of the Minister General of our Order fr. Michaela Perry with the young brothers of our Conference, i.e. with postulants, novices, temporary professions, and perpetual professions for the priesthood, accompanied by their formators together with the provincial ministers of the respective Provinces.

This year(2013) meeting for the junior brothers of our Conference will take place on June 3-5, in the monastery of the Province of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Chorzów, ul. Franciscan 1.
The theme of the meeting will be a question taken from Genesis, "Am I my brother's guardian?" (Gen 4,9). The lectures will lead the magistrzy of the House of Temporary Professions in Katowice-Panewniki: o. Filip Kahlert OFM and br. Konrad Pledged OFM.
This year's workshop for the formators of the North Slavic Conference will take place in the WSD building of brothers in Kraków-Bronowice (ul. Ojcowska 1, 31-344 Kraków; Tel. +48 12 6378555).
The proposed topic – "dangerous relationships" – formulated rather provocatively, concerns healthy and unhealthy relationships between a religious (priest) and women and is a continuation of last year's theme of "addiction".
Retreat for the formators of our Conference will take place from 12 to 17 November 2012, in the monastery of brothers in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska (ul. St. Bernard 46).
The retreat will lead s. Teresa Paszkowska Associate Professor kul, at which the university conducts classes on the following topics:
– Religious spirituality;
– The spirituality of consecrated life;
– Formation for prayer;
– Psychology in spiritual direction;
– Theology of consecrated life.
