Workshops for guards / Kalwaria Zebrzydowska 2011

From 7 to 10 November 2011, in the Sanctuary in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, formation workshops were held for the genies of our North Slavic Conference.

The organizer of the workshop was the secretariat of formation and study of the Conference, which he represented about. Witosław Sztyk OFM from the Province of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.

The workshop slogan "Meet to Talk" inspired a discussion on the following topics: local chapter (home), lectio divina, new evangelization, grants (fundraising).

Interreligious scientific symposium / Katowice 2011

From 9 to 16 October 2011, the 13th International Congress of Secretaries of Formation and Studies of the Entire Order of Minor Brothers took place at the Monastery of San Salvatore in Jerusalem.

Probation

Probation / Mount St. Anna 2011

In the Sanctuary on Mount St. Anne (Province of St. Hedwig; Ul. Monastery 6, 47-154 Mount St. Anna, tel. +48 77 4630900, e-mail: annasancta@opole.opoka.org.pl) the probation of the brothers of the North Slavic Conference ofM, which began on 25 June and will end on 9 July this year.
Responsible for the organization of probation is the secretariat of formation and study of our Conference (o. Witosław Sztyk OFM; witoslaw2@interia.pl; +48 502524927).

The purpose of the probation is to get to know the brethren of our Conference in direct preparation for perpetual vows. Every day before the morning, topics are proposed on Franciscan identity in missionary and evangelization service.

Junior formation

Junior meeting / Cieszyn 2011

From May 30 to June 2, 2011, the junior brothers of our Conference met at the formation workshops held in the monastery of the brothers in Cieszyn (Province of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary; ul. 3, 43 – 400 Cieszyn , tel: +48 33 852 43 57).
Responsible for the organization of the spotknia were: br. Konrad Pledged OFM (Province of the Assumption) and O. Krzysztof Paszkiewicz OFM (Province of Our Lady of the Angels).

The theme of the meeting was interpersonal communication in the religious community.
The classes, in the form of a workshop, were led by Dr. Magdalena Kudełka from the EXODUS Pastoral and Psychological Support Centre in Katowice.

Visit o. Massimo Tedoldi OFM / Katowice-Panewniki 2011

The community of brothers of the Higher Seminary and the House of Temporary Professions in Katowice-Panewniki (Province of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary) visited o. Massimo Tedoldi OFM, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, said: "We are very close to the European Commission." mission and evangelization of our Order.

On 5 May 2011 the community of brothers of the House of Temporary Professions in Katowice-Panewniki (Province of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary) visited o. Vidal Rodriguez Lopez OFM and o. Sergei Bałdyga OFM, Secretaries-General for formation and study in the Order of the Lesser Brothers.

Workshop for formators / Warsaw 2011

From 2 to 6 May, in the monastery of the brothers in Mokotów in Warsaw (Province of Our Lady of the Angels; ul. Modzelewski 98 a; Tel. +48 22 8484235), workshops were held for the formators of the North Slavic Conference.
The responsibility for their organization was about. Witosław Sztyk OFM.
The proposed theme: The Word of God in the formation of the Lesser Brothers was an attempt to take up and deepen the thoughts proposed by Benedict XVI in his Apostolic Exhortation fri. Verbum Domini.

We wanted to strengthen the ability to live with the Word of God in the personal and communous realization of the Franciscan vocation.

In achieving this goal, we were helped by invited guests, secretaries of formation and study of our Order, o. Vidal Rodríguez López OFM and o Sergei Bałdyga OFM.

Meeting of guards / Kalwaria Zebrzydowska 2010

From 22 to 25 November 2010, the guards of the North Slavic Conference of Poland and Ukraine met at the Shrine of Our Lady in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska to draw concrete goals for the coming years through reflection on the word of God and the documents of the Order.
